Aida Aziem was born in 1972, Harrania village. Her father was a hand labor hired on a daily basis on different farms.
Like all other children, she attended the local primary school at the age of six till 16. When Aida was 10, she joined her sisters whom came to the centre after school and during summer holidays to weave and play, later they were the group started the second generation weavers with Suzanne back in 1972.
Aida’s weaving remained to be rather naive, compare to her pears since she moved to a distant village when she got married and she can only come to the center twice a week and for a half day.
Her subject matter varies from depicting village stories and farmer’s activates in the fields, to Village market places, the sea and garden landscapes with their flowers and cactus.
Her tapestries have been part of the centre’s collection since the late 90’s..
Aida is marred with 4 children; her eldest is 20 years old
